Artic Building Services is a leader in Hard Facilities Management across London and the Home Counties. We offer a comprehensive suite of technical and engineering solutions, ensuring the smooth operation of your Mechanical, Electrical, and Hard FM Plant.

Location: Kings College London – working across x3 campuses

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Start Date: Immediately

Duration: Permanent

Skills Required:
  • Completed applicable apprenticeship and possess relevant AC and Refrigeration industry qualifications, including up‑to‑date Safe Handling (2079)
  • Comprehensive working experience from an HVAC and Building Services environment
  • A continuous history of employment within the HVAC and Building Services industry
  • Proven technical knowledge of a wide spectrum of Air Conditioning systems and plant including VRF, VRVS, AHU, Coldroom, and Specialist Refrigeration
  • Ability to develop and be part of a team; manage own time, work and paperwork
  • Capable of building long term relationships with clients both existing and prospective
  • Positive attitude “can do will do”.
  • Flexible in approach to hours and solving problems on site
  • Commercially astute, driven to identify and generate additional works / sales
  • Provide technical support to administration staff as required.
Job Duties:
  • Carry out maintenance and reactive tasks to plant on client site
  • Complete all relevant job tasks on PDA including Risk Assessments
  • Provide Further works reports where required
  • Liaise with the client concerning work completed and any further works required
  • Update contract managers with relevant client or site information
  • Inform administrator of any site or plant changes / site plant asset management
  • Collect parts from supplier or head office where applicable
  • Provide weekly timesheet to office on a Monday
