Location: Dartford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Reporting to: Lee Rumble, Senior Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Providing site inductions for all operatives on projects, ensuring compliance with company protocols
- Delivering onsite training at toolbox talk level
- Performing regular site inspections to monitor work quality and ensure adherence to safety regulations
- Reporting to Project Managers/Office Team on onsite progress
- Supporting project works, with the view to Project Management as a long-term goal
- Assisting with site surveys as required by the Project Team
- Performing other mechanical works as required by the Company
Requirements
- Relevant industry qualifications, such as SMSTS or SSSTS
- Proven continuous history of employment within the M&E Industry
- Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge of a wide spectrum of mechanical plant and systems, together with comprehensive fault-finding ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build working partnerships and problem-solve
- Ability to manage own time, works, and paperwork
- Positive "can-do" attitude, with flexibility in approach to hours and problem-solving on site
- Commercially astute, driven to identify and generate additional works
- Good understanding of Health and Safety
- Full clean driving license
- Possession of IOSH Managing Safely or Black Managers CSCS card status (desirable)
