I’m exclusively partnering with one of the fastest-growing specialist brokers in the London market on the hire of a Senior Catastrophe Modeller for their London analytics team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing, entrepreneurial business where catastrophe analytics plays a central role in client strategy and growth. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading catastrophe modelling analysis using RMS and AIR across a diverse client portfolio
  • Supporting brokers and clients with risk insights and portfolio analysis
  • Working across property and specialty classes including marine, cargo, and renewables
  • Mentoring junior analysts and supporting team development
  • Driving automation, workflow improvements, and analytical innovation
  • Supporting business development and client‑facing analytics projects

What we’re looking for:

  • 6 years’ catastrophe modelling experience, ideally within broking
  • Strong RMS and AIR expertise
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Python, R, Oasis, SpatialKey, or GIS experience advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and commercial mindset
  • Someone looking to step into a broader, more strategic role
