You will become a key part of a highly regarded underwriting operations function where quality, collaboration and continuous improvement are central to how the team works.

In this role you will take ownership of complex bordereaux activity across multiple classes, working closely with underwriting, finance and claims teams to ensure data is accurate and meaningful. You will have the chance to contribute to better processes, support high level reporting and become a trusted point of contact for both internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities:

  • Receiving, reviewing and processing monthly premium risk claims and paid bordereaux
  • Maintaining clear bordereaux schedules and ensuring timely ingestion into internal systems
  • Validating data sets and reviewing mapping issues
  • Investigating anomalies, missing information or potential breaches within contracts
  • Resolving data queries from third party partners and outsourced processing teams
  • Supporting audit reviews from start to finish
  • Working with underwriting to monitor binder performance and highlight emerging trends
  • Collaborating with reinsurance teams to support the annual renewal process
  • Producing regular MI for committees and senior stakeholders
  • Escalating ongoing performance problems or repeated data issues
  • Providing training to third party partners and colleagues when required

Experience required:

  • Extensive experience working in bordereaux oversight and processing
  • Strong knowledge of binding authority agreements and Lloyd’s reporting expectations
  • Experience handling premium risk claims and paid bordereaux
  • Advanced Excel with confidence using pivot tables and lookups
  • A strong eye for detail combined with good communication skills
  • Experience building strong relationships with brokers, coverholders and internal teams
