I'm currently working with a leading global insurer seeking a Treaty Analyst to join its growing Exposure Management team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with catastrophe modelling experience in Treaty business who wants to play a key role in portfolio analytics, underwriting support, and catastrophe exposure management within a highly analytical and fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering portfolio roll‑ups across Lloyd's, International, and Group entities
- Supporting the management and communication of Treaty catastrophe exposures across the portfolio
- Acting as a key contact for Treaty Underwriters, providing insight on model assumptions, data quality, and pricing inputs
- Supporting regulatory and internal reporting requirements
- Assisting with catastrophe event response and loss estimation activities
- Supporting Outwards Reinsurance submissions and exposure analysis
- Contributing to the development of exposure management tools, systems, and processes
Qualifications
- 2 years’ catastrophe modelling experience within Treaty business
- Strong understanding of catastrophe models, particularly RMS (AIR highly desirable)
- Experience with Python and SQL, alongside handling large datasets
- Knowledge of reinsurance structures and portfolio recoveries
- Understanding of the Lloyd's market, PRA, and Solvency II environment
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a passion for improving processes and analytics
