I am partnering with a fast-growing, tech‑led insurtech to recruit a Pricing & Optimisation Analyst into their retail pricing team. The business specialises in complex, high‑value risks and is known for combining smart technology with strong customer outcomes. This role sits at the core of trading and optimisation, focusing on maximising customer lifetime value across new business and renewals using large‑scale pricing data, experimentation and in-house optimisation tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimise pricing performance across new business and renewal portfolios
- Deploy pricing changes and design/run controlled pricing tests (A/B testing)
- Analyse millions of quotes to identify incremental sales and revenue opportunities
- Own trading data quality, definitions, deduplication logic and reporting governance
- Monitor KPIs, forecast trends and support pricing and finance planning
- Collaborate closely with Pricing, Data Science, Engineering and Marketing teams
Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years’ experience in pricing or price optimisation within competitive markets (e.g. General Insurance, Travel, Insurtech)
- Strong Python and SQL capability for data processing, analysis and reporting
- Solid grounding in statistics, experimentation and price elasticity
- Experience deploying pricing changes into live production environments
- Right to work in the UK
