I am partnering with a Lloyd's managing agent to recruit a Senior Operations Analyst. This is a highly visible role, reporting directly to the Head of Operations and acting as their deputy within a small team. It offers the opportunity to take ownership of key operational processes, drive business improvements and work closely with senior stakeholders on strategic initiatives across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day management of the Operations function and assist in leading the team to ensure the efficient delivery of operational activities.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance on day-to-day responsibilities and contributing to their ongoing development.
  • Prepare and present operational analysis, reporting and insights to senior management, committees and executive leadership, helping to inform strategic decision‑making.
  • Take ownership of key operational processes, including bordereaux mapping, tracking and reconciliation, while leading data quality initiatives to ensure the accuracy and integrity of operational data.
  • Work closely with the wider technology team to develop automation solutions, enhance reporting capabilities and identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and controls, supporting the continued growth and scalability of the business.
