Arthur are supporting a Global (Re)Insurer who are looking to improve their Reinsurance Operations & Reporting processes for both their Inwards & Outwards functions. The role will have a heavy steer towards Process Improvement & Operational Development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Process Enhancement: Manage the Reinsurance Reporting & Analytics team, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of management information (MI) and data. Drive continuous improvement by leading initiatives to optimise reporting processes and adopt new technologies.
- Data Analysis & Insight Delivery: Compile and present detailed reinsurance data to key committees, converting complex data-sets into clear, actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Strategic Departmental Support: Serve as deputy to the Head of Reinsurance Services.
- Governance & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to SOX and operational controls.
- Cross-Regional Project Involvement: Contribute reinsurance expertise to global and regional initiatives, supporting project delivery with technical insights and strategic recommendations.
Knowledge Required:
- Strong knowledge of the Insurance & Reinsurance sectors - with experience in Reinsurance & Financial Reporting.
- Strong senior stakeholder experience in an International environment.
- Experience in leading and supporting key operational projects that increase efficiencies.
- Exceptional leadership skills, able to mentor and develop more junior employees in BAU & Project work.
