Group Reporting Manager | 12-months FTC | £90,000-£95,000 | London/Hybrid (3 days P/Q)
Arthur Financial have partnered with a leading (re)insurance business to support with their search for a Group Reporting Manager who will report to and operate under the Head of Financial Reporting for the group. This person will co-ordinate the group financial consolidation process and prepare external financial reporting on an IFRS basis.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain quarterly group close timetables and year-end & half-end GAAP reporting timetables
- Manage inter-office reporting and consolidation process across the group
- Perform detailed analytical review of actuals against prior year and forecast
- Prepare group consolidated financial statements and note disclosures
- Prepare BMA regulatory reports
- Develop knowledge and understanding of WDESK reporting tool
- Maintain general ledger financial systems
- Support external auditors, ensuring timely & efficient completion of annual audits
- Support the Head of Finance Projects to develop increased efficiencies for group reporting processes and drive change & improvements
Skills & Requirements
- Qualified Accountant with 5 years post qualification experience
- Insurance / reinsurance industry experience
- Detailed knowledge of preparing IFRS financial statements for re/insurance entities
- Experience with Great Plains general ledger and WDESK (desirable)
- Experience in a multi-currency/jurisdiction environment
