I'm currently partnering with a leading insurer to appoint a Group Head of Enterprise Risk Management / Chief Risk Officer (SMF4).

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected business in a Board-facing leadership role, driving the strategic direction of the Enterprise Risk function.

Key responsibilities

  • Leading and evolving the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Acting as the SMF4 Chief Risk Officer, partnering with the Board and Executive Committee.
  • Owning the ORSA process, Risk Appetite Framework and enterprise-wide governance.
  • Overseeing operational, emerging and enterprise risk, alongside internal controls and operational resilience.
  • Building strong relationships with regulators and senior stakeholders while promoting a strong risk culture across the business.
  • Candidate profile
  • Significant Enterprise Risk leadership experience within the UK insurance market.
  • Previous Board-level exposure and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • A thorough understanding of the PRA, FCA and Solvency UK regulatory landscape.
  • Experience leading Enterprise Risk Frameworks and ORSA.
