We are delighted to be partnering with a leading Insurance business to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant for a key hire within their Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with insurance sector experience to join a highly respected organisation operating across multiple international entities and branches. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure across financial reporting, reinsurance, taxation, reconciliations and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of month-end accounting entries relating to inbound underwriting transactions, covering areas such as earned premium recognition, claims movements and fronting activity.
  • Analyse monthly financial results for several entities, reviewing both individual company performance and consolidated group reporting and prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
