Finance Technician – 12 Month FTC
Location: London/Hybrid
Salary: £35k–£40k + pro-rata bonus + benefits
The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller (and later the Senior Financial Accountant or Claims Controller), you’ll play a key role in finance operations—with a strong focus on:
- Running the claims payment run and supplier payment run (covering for colleagues during holidays and peak periods)
- Finance operation tasks including bank reconciliations and journal postings
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve payment queries
- Providing cover across the finance team as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience running payment runs and working in accounts payable/finance operations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communicator who can pick up the phone to chase payments and liaise with different teams
- Ideally insurance experience, but wider financial services will be considered
- Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
