This is a great opportunity to join a well-established Lloyd’s market insurer in a role central to delegated authority operations. As a Bordereaux Technician, you will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure delegated data is accurate, timely and compliant with reporting standards.
You will manage the full bordereaux process, from receipt and validation through to upload, analysis and query resolution. Working alongside Underwriters, Claims, Finance and Coverholders, you will help monitor binder performance, maintain compliance with Lloyd’s requirements and provide valuable insights to support decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
• Receive, review and process premium, claims and risk bordereaux in line with binding authority agreements
• Cleanse, map and upload data into internal systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Identify and resolve anomalies, missing data and breaches, escalating issues where required
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain data integrity and improve processes
• Support Underwriters in tracking binder performance and providing actionable insights
Experience & skills required:
• Previous experience in a bordereaux processing role within the Lloyd’s market
• Strong knowledge of binding authority agreements, Coverholder reporting standards and bordereaux types
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups, and experience with data mapping tools
• High attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
