They are seeking an experienced catastrophe modeller to lead its catastrophe modelling function within the Property & Casualty division. This role requires a highly organised professional with strong leadership and communication skills, as it involves regular interaction with brokers, clients, and markets via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering catastrophe modelling analysis and insights
- Presenting results to stakeholders
- Maintaining high data quality standards while advising clients on improvements where needed
- Overseeing and enhancing team workflows and reporting tools
- Managing internal and external relationships (including third-party vendors)
- Supporting and training junior team members
- Contributing to event response reporting
- Staying current with developments in catastrophe modelling
- Assisting other divisions when required
- Handling additional duties as needed
