Assistant Bordereaux Manager

This is a great opportunity to join a growing underwriting business in a hands on bordereaux position.

You will support the management of binding authorities while taking ownership of key operational processes across risk and paid bordereaux.

The role offers broad exposure across Underwriting and broker relationships.

You will also support the onboarding of binders while developing your knowledge across underwriting operations and delegated business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the production of monthly risk and paid carrier bordereaux.
  • Monitoring risk bordereaux against paid bordereaux and investigating any differences.
  • Managing binding authorities in line with agreed terms and internal procedures.
  • Supporting the onboarding of new binders onto Novidea.
  • Working with IBA to reconcile paid bordereaux.
  • Liaising with brokers to resolve remittance queries.
  • Working closely with Underwriters to resolve operational issues and broker queries.
  • Escalating issues where required to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic records and filing systems.
  • Supporting the administration of market underwriting platforms.
  • Ensuring processes remain compliant with FCA requirements and internal procedures.
  • Supporting wider projects across the team when required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within bordereaux, binding authorities or underwriting operations.
  • A good understanding of risk and paid bordereaux.
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to managing data.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to work across several internal and external teams.
