We are looking for a Site Support Engineer to join an industry leading company in Derby. Job Requirements * Undertake planned maintenance activities on control and automation systems across several sites through out the UK * Involves periods away from home, nights and some weekends * Undertake fault rectification activities * Participate in an on call rota * Respond to reactive maintenance callouts * Produce fault/maintenance reports * Applicant must be able to drive as the job involves driving to various sites * The applicant should expect to be on-site Qualifications * HND or higher in an electrical based subject (Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics etc.) Technical Skills/Experience * Installation, modification and fault finding control panels and associated sensors etc. * Writing and fault finding PLC software written in ladder, function block and structured text * Creating and fault finding SCADA systems * Creating and fault finding HMI systems * Configuring and fault finding industrial Ethernet networks * § Including ring/spanning tree topologies * § Including VLANs * VMWare virtualisation * Good general IT skills * Competent with Microsoft Office Physical Characteristics * Must be reasonably fit * Must be prepared to work outside * Must be prepared to get hands on * Must be prepared to work as part of a young and dynamic team * Calm under pressure * Persistent * Excellent communication skills * The job will require working at height on occasion * The Job will require confined space access on occasion On offer is a Salary of £23,000 to £35,000 dependent on experience plus an enhanced holiday package plus Laptop & Phone
