We're working with a forward-thinking engineering company based in Derby to find a Lead Electronics Engineer who's ready to take the reins on technically demanding projects. This is a hands-on, leadership-level role for someone who wants to make a real impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading end-to-end electronics projects: hardware, firmware, embedded systems, and control.
  • Taking ownership of designs from concept through to delivery and customer integration.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and apprentices, helping shape the next generation of talent.
  • Interfacing directly with customers to gather requirements and troubleshoot in the real world.
  • Driving technical decisions, risk assessments, and project planning.

You’ll be supported by a skilled and collaborative team, but you’ll also have the autonomy to lead, design, and deliver in your own style.
