The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
We are actively recruiting for a quality Controller to work on one of our clients' manufacturing sites, this will be at one of their sampling stations and will involve testing of raw product and logging and reporting all results to maximise plant efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out all the continuous internal quality tests on the raw materials required following the company’s test procedures.
- Record and report all test results on paper and electronically as required.
- Report any rejections or obvious trends of data that could be used to improve the quality of the finished product to the appropriate line manager as required.
- Test and report on the quality of raw products and trial materials, feeding back information to help drive improvement of feedstock.
- Prepare and send material samples to customers, suppliers and for laboratory testing.
- Effectively interact with the production team and environmental team to ensure that all test results are communicated and utilised to gain maximum benefit.
- Generate quality reports for weekly and monthly meetings including completion of NCRs.
- Attend the daily site production meeting.
- Report any contamination issues to the relevant personnel.
- Assist in training staff in quality testing/inspection procedures and standard operating procedures.
- Assist and cover with any other production duties that may be required.
- Assist and cover with any other quality duties that may be required.
- Ensure adherence to all internal processes and procedures to ensure role is completed accurately at all times.
- Communicate effectively with fellow team members to ensure work is being carried out efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Pro-actively encourage and help co-workers when necessary.
- Assist with other departments when required and build good relationships with employees throughout the company.

- Ability to manage multiple workloads to agreed deadlines.
- Hold a current FLT license or willing to work towards.
- Self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to record and report data accurately and neatly.
- Ability to demonstrate and uphold excellent H&S standards.
- IT Literate and competent to deal with various weighbridge issues that may arise.
