The role

As Talent Lead, you will be responsible for owning and delivering the full recruitment life cycle across sales and back office for permanent & contract hiring for Arthur while leading strategic talent initiatives. Working in a stand-alone capacity within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, you’ll collaborate closely with hiring managers, leadership, L&D and our Hr advisors to attract, engage & hire top-tier talent for the business.

You will be instrumental in designing and embedding recruitment strategies that prioritise both candidate experience and hiring manager satisfaction, supporting succession planning, employer branding, and talent pool development.

This is a hands-on role that blends operational delivery with strategic input across all levels of the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the end-to-end recruitment strategy across all business units.
  • Partner with senior leadership to shape and implement long-term talent strategies.
  • Develop and manage direct sourcing campaigns, headhunting, and passive candidate engagement.
  • Create, write and post compelling job adverts and internal comms to support hiring and employer branding.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline aligned with succession planning, swapping out underperformance and growth initiatives.
  • Reducing agency dependency. (Own and manage the PSL, reviewing suppliers, renegotiating terms).
  • Oversee recruitment approval processes and reporting, ensuring deadlines and compliance are met.
  • Support L&D through upskilling hiring managers with interview techniques, assessment design, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Ensure we are hiring within the Arthur Persona and score matrix that combine competency-based recruitment and behavioural assessments.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to align recruitment with L&D, onboarding, and cultural objectives.
  • Manage recruitment content on internal platforms and external careers pages.
  • Lead MI reporting, dashboards and recruitment analytics, informing talent decisions.

Skills, knowledge and experience

  • Proven experience leading in-house recruitment functions in high-growth or complex environments.
  • Strong track record of direct sourcing success and cost reduction through talent strategy.
  • Comfortable designing and embedding recruitment frameworks, policies, and training.
  • Experienced in psychometric tools (SPQ, insights) and competency frameworks.
  • Confident with HR tech (ATS/HRIS) and producing data-led insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in employer branding, internal communications and onboarding initiatives.
