An exciting opportunity to join a global organisation as a Senior Strategic Operations Manager, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and employee experience through strategic initiatives . This role was created to bring a fresh perspective. As the organisation grows and embraces digitalisation, it aims to transition to a more proactive approach . The Senior Strategic Operations Manager will use their years of experience within the Lloyd’s of London insurance industry to work closely with internal stakeholders and contribute to the operations strategy. Working as part of a small team, this role perfectly combines high-level strategic thinking and hands-on work. This role will work on various continuous initiatives and rollouts without being constrained to projects. The manager will also coach team members on process improvement methodologies, such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile, to ensure the successful implementation of enhancements. What we’re looking for: Extensive experience within the Lloyd’s of London insurance industry – working directly with Underwriting teams is highly advantageous. Relevant experience in operations or related fields, with the ability to guide and coach others. Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends and exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills are essential. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to grasp strategic goals and translate them into actionable initiatives. Previous experience with business process management. This role is located in London and works in a Hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
