Job Description
Leading Insurance Marketplace looking for a Senior Solicitor to join their Corporate Legal function. The role is a 12-month Maternity cover position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert and strategic advice on key corporate and regulatory projects across the business, including corporate transactional support (M&A, JVs etc).
- Providing accurate information related to finance & capital investments, tax and regulatory compliance matters/corporate governance changes.
- Drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Effectively managing key internal and external stakeholders for the Marketplace.
- Instructing and liaising with external counsel where appropriate.
The successful candidate must have strong corporate and regulatory knowledge, with a clear understanding of aspects of Insurance Law. Strong competition law experience would also be desirable. Experience within Private Practice at a top City Law Firm or In-House experience within Financial Services or Insurance will be considered.
Ideally you will be immediately available or available to start within 1 month.
