Job Description
Leading Insurance Marketplace looking for a Senior Solicitor to join their Commercial legal function. The role is a 12-month Maternity cover position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading on key commercial agreements for the business, including IT and Procurement agreements, as well as wider tech and SAAS contracts.
- Drafting and negotiating a wide array of commercial contracts.
- Providing key legal and regulatory advice to the business.
- Managing requirements and expectations of key internal and external stakeholders related to cross-market project work.
- Instructing and liaising with external counsel when necessary.
The successful candidate must have strong experience in Commercial Contracts drafting, either via Private Practice or having worked In-House in Financial Services/Insurance. Ideally you can start immediately or within 1 month of a current contract finishing.
