Key Responsibilities:- Underwrite new and renewal property business within agreed authority levels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key brokers
- Assess and price risks in line with underwriting guidelines and appetite
- Work with internal teams (risk engineering, claims, operations) to ensure good service delivery
- Contribute to business development activity and portfolio growth
- Maintain accurate records and support reporting requirements
- Experience underwriting property risks, ideally within commercial or real estate classes
- A good understanding of broker market relationships and placement process
- Comfortable trading with brokers and discussing terms confidently
- Ability to analyse risk information and make sound underwriting decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
