The Opportunity
As a Senior .NET Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing and evolving a suite of APIs that sit at the heart of the platform. You’ll be building clean, scalable services used across web applications, internal systems, and third-party integrations, working closely with product and distribution teams to deliver real business impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and building high-quality RESTful and event-driven APIs
- Owning features end-to-end, from design through to production and beyond
- Implementing core business logic, workflows, and validation within services
- Driving best practice across API design, versioning, and documentation
- Collaborating with engineers through code reviews and shared learning
- Contributing to technical direction and continuous improvement across the platform
What They’re Looking For
- Strong experience with C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core)
- Solid understanding of API design principles (REST, versioning, HTTP semantics)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, SQL, etc.)
- Comfortable working in agile teams with modern Git workflows
- A mindset focused on clean code, scalability, and maintainability
- Someone who enjoys solving problems and improving how things are done
Nice to Have
- Experience within insurance
- Knowledge of authentication and authorisation (OAuth, Entra ID)
- Exposure to DevOps practices and monitoring in Azure
- Interest in or experience with AI-assisted development tools
