Arthur are delighted to have been engaged by an Insurance company at the forefront of innovation and enjoying enviable growth, in their search for a senior Lawyer with strong experience in the London Insurance market. Acting as the number 2 to the General Counsel, this role will lead on a variety of work streams in the legal function, in what is a highly varied and broad position.
The structure of the team is such that you will be involved in all Legal work, and act as a senior business partner to all functions within the organisation. On the non-contentious side, you will lead on the negotiation of commercial and corporate contracts, Insurance law matters including wordings and contracts relating to the distribution of Insurance products.
This is a newly created position in what is a growing, and high-calibre legal function, led by a highly experienced General Counsel, who is well known and respected across the Insurance market. This opportunity will undoubtedly offer career growth and personal development, as the team and the business continue their exciting journey of success, with increasing opportunities likely.
My client have a highly flexible working policy, with home working encouraged and supported and working hours that facilitate a great work/life balance. It is essential that you are currently, or have previously worked in an In-House Counsel position in the London Insurance market, either in Lloyd's, other Commercial lines Insurers, or Insurance Brokers. Applicants without this experience will not be considered for this position.
