Role overview
I am working with a boutique Personal Lines Insurer who are seeking a Pricing Analyst due to growth. My client is looking to grow considerably, with plans to triple their current GWP over the next 5 years.
This is a unique role with exposure across U/W, Broking and everything in between. In addition, the successful candidate will be reporting directly to the head of pricing with an array of exposure on offer. This role would utilise modern technologies i.e Emblem, Radar.
Flexible working is on offer with 1 day required per month in the London office, with travel expensed.
Responsibilities
- Pricing Strategy Development: Support the design and execution of pricing models and strategies for travel insurance products
- Data Analysis: Analyse large datasets to uncover trends, customer behaviour, and pricing opportunities using Generalised Linear Models (GLM)
- Software Utilisation: Leverage tools like Emblem and Radar (Live) to create, test, and optimise pricing algorithms and models.
Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Experience in pricing, analytics, or financial roles, ideally within the insurance or travel sectors
- Proficiency in Generalised Linear Models (GLM) and familiarity with pricing software, especially Emblem and Radar Live
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and preferably R/Python
