- Writing business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, use cases

- Conducting As-Is process discovery and documenting current state accurately
- Designing To-Be processes with clear improvement rationale
- Identifying process inefficiencies, bottlenecks and risk points
- Understanding of BPMN notations and swim lane diagrams
- Documenting exceptions and edge cases (not just the happy paths)
- Producing RACI matrices
- Identifying who has authority, influence and interest in a change
- Managing conflicting stakeholders needs and priorities
- Understanding the components of an operating model (people, process, technology, data and governance)
- Conducting As-Is operating model assessments to baseline how a business currently functions
- Identifying pain points, capability gaps and inefficiencies across the model
