I'm working with a global specialty insurance and reinsurance business in the midst of a significant transformation. The Change function is lean, fast-moving, and well regarded internally. A fun, high-performing team with a full pipeline of work and strong senior sponsorship.
The first major assignment will focus on a large-scale ceded reinsurance transformation, with wider exposure across the London Market change agenda to follow.
About the Role
Sitting at the heart of the London Market operation, you'll lead delivery across a varied portfolio spanning:
- Claims
- Finance transformation
- Policy administration platforms
Operating in a flat, non-bureaucratic environment, you'll work directly with senior leaders and C-suite stakeholders, owning outcomes end to end across business and technology change.
What You'll Do
- Lead complex change initiatives from initiation through to delivery
- Own stakeholder engagement across business, IT, and senior leadership
- Work closely with lean Project Managers and Business Analysts to shape pragmatic solutions
- Coordinate delivery with internal teams and third-party partners
- Balance multiple workstreams within a busy, collaborative change team
Skills and Experience
- 7+ years' project delivery experience, with 3+ years delivering end-to-end change projects in insurance
- Strong exposure to core insurance functions (e.g. underwriting, claims, reinsurance, actuarial)
- Hands-on, proactive, and easy to work with. This is a small team where attitude matters
- Working knowledge of PRINCE2 and/or Agile delivery
- Familiarity with delivery tools such as DevOps boards, Kanban, or similar
- Solid understanding of business cases, budgets, TOMs, risk, and governance
- (Background as a Business Analyst is welcomed, but clear ownership of project delivery is essential.)
