Arthur is delighted to be partnering with a global general insurer who are looking for a Risk Actuary to join their Risk & Capital function. The role reports directly into the Head of the team and provides the opportunity to work with an impressive team in providing technical advice and support quantitative risk management and capital assessment.
Very flexible working conditions - 1 day in the office per week.
- Managing risk reviews of the business plan, reinsurance programme and strategic asset allocation.
- Parameterisation and documentation of various risk types including insurance risk, business risk, longevity risk and operational risk within the internal capital model.
- Undertaking validation exercises, production of risk reports, stress and scenario testing oversight and co-ordination of the ORSA report.
- Part or fully qualified actuary with reserving/pricing experience.
- Experience working in a risk or actuarial function.
- Motivated to continuously seek to improve the performance of self and the team.
