I have partnered with a global specialty insurance business to find an Operational Risk Manager to join their team. This is a key role in the second line of defence, working closely with senior stakeholders to manage and enhance the Operational Risk framework while ensuring regulatory compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to shape risk strategy within a leading global insurer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Operational Risk strategy for UK & Europe.
- Maintain and enhance the risk framework, ensuring effective risk identification, monitoring, and mitigation.
- Lead risk reporting to senior management, committees, and regulators.
- Support governance processes, facilitating risk committee operations and advising on key risk issues.
- Ensure compliance with key regulations, including Operational Resilience and Third-Party Risk Management.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in operational risk, internal controls, and incident reporting.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to present to senior leadership.
- UK Insurance experience is a MUST.
