Arthur are partnered with a Lloyd’s market insurer seeking a Fine Art & Specie Underwriter to join their London team. This role will focus on underwriting Fine Art & Specie risks across international & US markets, whilst supporting the continued growth of the portfolio through broker development and strong underwriting discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Underwrite Fine Art & Specie risks in line with underwriting appetite and governance
  • Manage and grow a profitable portfolio across Fine Art, Specie, and related specialty classes
  • Develop and maintain broker relationships within the Lloyd’s and London market
  • Assess complex risks and negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions
  • Support portfolio growth initiatives and business development activity
  • Monitor portfolio performance and market developments

Requirements

  • Previous underwriting experience within Fine Art & Specie or related specialty lines
  • Strong understanding of the Lloyd’s and London insurance market
  • Established broker relationships preferred
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Collaborative and proactive approach
