I’m working with a London Market insurer currently undergoing a large-scale Finance Transformation programme and they’re looking to hire a Finance Business Analyst into a highly visible transformation environment. This is not a traditional “requirements gathering” BA role. The business is looking for someone who can operate as a consultative transformation specialist, someone capable of challenging processes, designing future-state operating models and bridging the gap between Finance, Data and Technology teams.

The programme includes:

  • Workday Finance transformation
  • Workday Prism / data warehouse capability
  • Finance operating model redesign
  • Process automation & control improvement
  • Data governance & source-to-GL transparency
  • Reduction of spreadsheet/manual processes

You’ll work closely with Finance, Actuarial, Reserving and Reinsurance stakeholders across multiple critical workstreams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead as-is / to-be process mapping
  • Support Finance Target Operating Model (TOM) design
  • Gather and challenge business requirements
  • Analyse finance data flows into accounting outputs & GL
  • Improve controls, governance and auditability
  • Support transition planning and implementation activity
  • Work closely with senior programme stakeholders
  • Translate manual finance logic into scalable system processes

What they’re looking for:

  • Strong Finance Transformation experience
  • Insurance market background is essential
  • London Market / Lloyd’s exposure strongly preferred
  • Strong Business Analysis and process mapping capability
  • Experience across finance systems, data and operating models
  • Ability to engage credibly with senior finance stakeholders
  • Understanding of insurance finance data flows and close processes
  • Workday exposure highly beneficial

The ideal profile could come from:

  • Finance Transformation
  • Insurance Change
  • Finance BA
  • TOM / Operating Model design
  • FP&A Transformation
  • Qualified Accountant with strong change experience

This is a genuinely high-profile programme sitting on critical transformation workstreams through to 2027.
