Data Architect to help shape the future of their cloud data landscape.
You’ll lead the design of scalable data architecture across a modern
Snowflake platform, driving best practice around data modelling, governance, security and platform adoption.
Working closely with Data Engineering, Architecture, Security and business stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in delivering trusted, enterprise-wide data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and evolve enterprise data architecture on Snowflake.
- Lead the implementation of Medallion Architecture and modern data modelling practices.
- Define governance standards, metadata, lineage and secure RBAC/ABAC access models.
- Partner with engineering teams to establish scalable ETL/ELT and data platform standards.
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into strategic data solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers and influence the long‑term data roadmap.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or Lead Data Engineer with architecture responsibilities.
- Strong expertise with
- Snowflake
, dbt and modern cloud data platforms.
- Excellent understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modelling, ETL/ELT and enterprise architecture.
- Experience implementing data governance, security and GDPR best practices.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and Azure technologies is beneficial.
- Previous experience within insurance or another regulated industry would be highly advantageous.
