Business Transformation Analyst | London
We're working with a leading organisation within the commercial insurance market that is looking for an experienced Business Transformation Analyst to join its UK Change & Transformation function.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering business change across Underwriting, Claims, Operations and supporting functions , helping to improve processes, strengthen operational resilience and identify new opportunities through data, technology and automation.
The successful candidate will go beyond traditional business analysis, acting as a problem solver, change catalyst and strategic thinker . You'll work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and delivery colleagues to understand complex challenges and translate them into practical, measurable solutions.
What you'll be doing
- Analyse end-to-end processes, operating models and customer journeys to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Challenge existing ways of working and develop innovative, commercially focused solutions.
- Use data and analytics to identify trends, risks, root causes and opportunities.
- Work with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL or similar platforms.
- Support the use of AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve decision-making and operational effectiveness.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support transformation initiatives from initial idea through to implementation.
- Contribute to business cases, benefits tracking, process design and business readiness.
- Keep up to date with developments across the London Market and Commercial Insurance sector.
What we're looking for
- 5-7 years' experience in Business Analysis, Business Transformation or a similar role.
- Experience within Commercial Insurance or a related financial services environment is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience with data visualisation, analytics and/or process modelling.
- Exposure to modern AI-enabled tools and digital ways of working.
- Experience supporting UAT, implementation and business readiness.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A curious, proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo.
- A recognised Business Analysis qualification would be advantageous.
