Actuarial Analyst - General Insurance in London

I am working with a leading London Market firm seeking an Actuarial Analyst (Pricing) to join their Specialty Personal lines function. This role will be a mixture of pricing and technical actuarial work – an excellent opportunity for someone with a personal lines pricing background, seeking a future in the London Market.

There would be a requirement to be in the London office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

Assist underwriters with pricing support.

Aid in developing and maintaining pricing models and management information (MI) monitoring tools.

Support governance of rating models by conducting user testing and managing documentation.

Requirements:

Skilled in extracting and transforming data for actuarial analysis and management information (MI) reporting, utilising SQL, R, Python, or similar tools.

Pricing experience, ideally in consumer products (e.g., motor, pet, travel, home).

Strong interpersonal abilities, with a proven capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
