One of our financial services clients is recruiting a Data Analytics Internal Audit Manager to lead their audit department’s data analytics strategy and execution. You will operate as the team’s lead data analytics specialist, drive data strategy and perform detailed data analysis, as well as train the wider audit team on the better deployment of data analytics and the use of key software for both analysis and visualisation.
You will have the opportunity to work with the audit senior leadership team in presenting data related findings to executive committee level and have a real voice in developing the department's current and future strategy and approach to the use of data analytics and automation.
This varied and multifaceted role will suit someone with good technical skills around data analytics but also with some understanding of the role of audit and how data analytics can be used to enhance the audit product. The position is London based with a requirement to be in the office two days per week.
- Skills Required:
- Ability to devise bespoke analytics solutions through coding (SQL, Python etc).
- Good knowledge of analytics tools like Alteryx, Power Bi and Tableau for analysis and not just visualisation.
- An understanding of the role of internal audit and how data analytics can be used to enhance the level of assurance provided by audit teams.
- A willingness to work with audit generalists and help train them in data analytics techniques.
