Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Financial Risk function: Oversee all aspects of market, credit, and liquidity risk, providing expert guidance and challenge.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders: Collaborate with senior leaders across Risk, Investments, Actuarial, and Finance, ensuring risk considerations are integrated into decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships: Effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clear understanding of financial risks.
  • Mentor and develop the team: Lead by example, helping to develop junior members of the risk team through mentorship and training.

About You:

  • Strong Quantitative Risk Background: You’ll have a deep understanding of risk management in either life or non-life insurance.
  • CFA or FIA Qualifications: While not essential, these qualifications will be highly regarded.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in managing and developing teams, with the ability to lead and inspire a small but high-performing function.
  • Clear Communication Skills: You must be able to articulate complex ideas clearly to senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
