Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Financial Risk function: Oversee all aspects of market, credit, and liquidity risk, providing expert guidance and challenge.
- Engage with senior stakeholders: Collaborate with senior leaders across Risk, Investments, Actuarial, and Finance, ensuring risk considerations are integrated into decision-making.
- Build strong relationships: Effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clear understanding of financial risks.
- Mentor and develop the team: Lead by example, helping to develop junior members of the risk team through mentorship and training.
About You:
- Strong Quantitative Risk Background: You’ll have a deep understanding of risk management in either life or non-life insurance.
- CFA or FIA Qualifications: While not essential, these qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in managing and developing teams, with the ability to lead and inspire a small but high-performing function.
- Clear Communication Skills: You must be able to articulate complex ideas clearly to senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
