This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced compliance professional ready to take the next step into their first Head of Compliance role. Joining a well-established, highly respected specialist insurer, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and leading the compliance function during a period of growth and regulatory evolution.

The successful candidate will have several years of experience in a senior compliance role within the UK insurance industry, ideally in a commercial or specialist lines environment. You will bring a strong working knowledge of FCA regulations, SM&CR requirements, and be comfortable operating as a key advisor to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the compliance function, ensuring alignment with current regulatory requirements
• Advise senior management on regulatory change and risk
• Oversee regulatory reporting and liaison with the FCA
• Maintain and evolve the compliance monitoring plan
• Promote a culture of compliance awareness throughout the business
