Arthur is supporting a key role within a global reserving function. The role offers the opportunity to support the delivery of quarterly reserving across international insurance and reinsurance portfolios. You will be assisting with the central estimate process, ensuring reserving outputs meet governance and regulatory standards, and providing clear and independent insight to senior leadership. It also contributes to process improvement, stakeholder coordination and the development of reporting capability across the reserving function.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the central estimate process and deliver quarterly reserve and margin analyses to senior leadership.
  • Support the full quarterly US GAAP reserving process on a gross and net basis across international portfolios.
  • Ensure the reserving process meets regulatory, audit and internal control requirements.
  • Contribute to the transition to a new operating model, including process improvements and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

  • Qualified actuary (FIA or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in London Market reserving.
  • Broad understanding of specialty insurance and reinsurance portfolios.
  • Able to influence and support senior stakeholders through clear and objective communication.
