We’re looking for a Finance Systems Accountant to support a growing, technology-driven specialty insurance platform. This role combines finance systems expertise with hands-on accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation, configuration, and ongoing improvement of the finance system
- Act as internal system expert, managing structures (e.g. accounts, hierarchies, access, workflows)
- Maintain accurate financial data and support reporting across multiple standards and requirements
- Assist with integrations between finance and wider business systems
- Contribute to core finance processes (month-end, journals, reconciliations, reporting)
- Help develop scalable processes, controls, and governance frameworks
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve finance workflows
- Support system users, troubleshoot issues, and assist with audits
About You
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with relevant finance experience
- Experience working with or supporting enterprise finance systems
- Strong understanding of accounting processes and financial data
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with data tools (e.g. SQL, Python) is a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
