An established insurance business is looking to hire a qualified Reinsurance Accountant on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role will be responsible for reinsurance month-end reporting, regulatory submissions and financial controls across a diverse insurance portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the month-end close process for reinsurance finance.
  • Deliver analysis and reporting of monthly results.
  • Coordinate Solvency II and Lloyd's reporting submissions.
  • Maintain SOX-compliant financial controls.
  • Support external audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Drive process improvements and reporting efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Insurance or reinsurance finance experience.
  • Strong month-end, reporting and controls background.
  • Experience with Solvency II and Lloyd's reporting is highly desirable.
  • Strong Excel and stakeholder management skills.
