Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Delegated Authority team in a Lloyd’s Managing Agency where you will take ownership of the full audit cycle for Coverholders and Delegated Claims Administrators. Working across all classes of business, you will be at the heart of maintaining robust governance, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving quality standards across the delegated portfolio.
You will work closely with underwriters, brokers, external audit firms and other stakeholders, coordinating the audit programme from scheduling through to remediation. This role offers a blend of operational oversight, stakeholder engagement and analytical review, making it ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a passion for process excellence.
Responsibilities
- Managing the end-to-end process of Coverholder and DCA audits, from scheduling to follow-up on recommendations.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including claims teams, brokers and audit providers.
- Reviewing audit reports to ensure adherence to scope and quality standards.
- Tracking and escalating outstanding recommendations to ensure timely resolution.
- Producing MI and committee papers on audit performance and progress to plan.
- Maintaining up-to-date audit policies, procedures and regulatory knowledge.
- Overseeing offshore support resources to ensure accurate processing and record keeping.
- Supporting governance committees with reporting and statistics.
Experience / Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of delegated authorities and Lloyd’s/FCA/PRA regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience managing the full Coverholder and DCA audit cycle.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with Lloyd’s systems such as ATLAS, DCOM and DAM is desirable.
- High attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in data or reporting.
