Compliance Officer – Insurance
London/Hybrid
The Compliance Officer will operate in a Regional Compliance Function offering wide exposure across a number of areas of compliance.
Duties
- Conduct horizon scanning for new UK and EU regulatory developments.
- Work with local compliance across the region to ensure policies fit local requirements.
- Lead the roll out of new and updated policies and guidelines including training.
- Ensure that new regulatory developments are reported and tracked by local compliance.
- Contribute to horizon scanning internal communication and reporting.
- Support the maintenance of key Compliance frameworks.
- Build and maintain a strong technical knowledge of relevant UK & EU regulation.
- Support the development and regular review of policies and procedures.
Skills And Experience Required
- 2+ years’ experience of working in Compliance role within the insurance industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Proven track record of navigating regulation within insurance
- Comfortable working in a regional team where a number of stakeholders are based in other countries.
