Principal Consultant – London Claims at Arthur Recruitment | MVP 2023-24

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Claims Adjuster to join a dynamic and professional team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of complex, high-value claims across multiple product lines and jurisdictions, while working closely with brokers, clients, and internal teams.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage claims from first notification to settlement with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain records and support internal and external reporting
  • Resolve queries promptly, keeping stakeholders updated
  • Build strong relationships across brokers, clients, and internal departments
  • Escalate and report large losses to senior management

What we’re looking for

  • Strong claims handling experience, ideally across liability, medical malpractice, D&O, or political risks
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Strong knowledge of policy wordings and coverage analysis
  • IT proficiency (Excel and claims systems) with sharp attention to detail
  • Lloyd’s or reinsurance market experience (desirable)
