My highly established London Market Insurance client is looking for a proactive HR Business Partner to join their HR team on a fixed-term basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Employee Relations expertise who enjoys working across the full people lifecycle.

In this role, you will build strong relationships with leaders and managers across the organisation, providing trusted HR advice and ensuring a positive employee experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a wide range of Employee Relations cases, including more complex matters.
  • Supporting talent activity such as succession planning, reviews and development conversations.
  • Working closely with colleagues across HR to deliver joined-up processes and people initiatives.
  • Contributing to key projects that support organisational goals and cultural priorities.
  • Keeping employment policies aligned with legislation and best practice.
  • Using data and insight to support recommendations, reporting and planning.
  • Providing guidance to more junior HR team members as required.
  • Supporting ad-hoc HR work when new priorities arise.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Solid experience in a generalist HR role, with strong ER exposure.
  • A good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Confidence partnering with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders.
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret people data.
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using HR systems (any platform), though specific system knowledge is not essential.

This is a role where you can make a meaningful impact — combining day-to-day HR support with broader project involvement and the chance to influence ongoing people strategies.

If you’re an experienced HR professional looking for a varied FTC role where you can bring your ER expertise and make a real contribution, we encourage you to apply today.

(Please note this is an FTC for 12 months/Until End of 2026)
