A growing Lloyd’s market insurer is looking to hire a Compliance Manager on a 6-month FTC to support their wider compliance and corporate governance function. This is a broad, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys operating across advisory, governance, regulatory compliance and financial crime within a collaborative Lloyd’s environment.
The business is looking for an experienced compliance professional who can support day-to-day compliance operations while also contributing across governance frameworks, SM&CR, horizon scanning and regulatory oversight.
Key areas of the role include:
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the Compliance Function
- Providing regulatory and compliance advisory support to the business
- Corporate governance support including Board and committee activity
- Assisting with SM&CR administration and governance frameworks
- Horizon scanning and regulatory change monitoring
- Supporting compliance monitoring and assurance activity
- Financial crime and sanctions support
- GDPR / Data Protection guidance across the business
- Working closely with Risk and Internal Audit functions
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Lloyd’s / London Market compliance experience
- Strong corporate governance exposure
- Understanding of FCA/PRA regulation, SM&CR and UK GDPR
- Experience supporting compliance monitoring activity
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- A hands-on, pragmatic approach within smaller teams
