We are currently working with a global insurer to recruit a Casualty Underwriter to join their growing team.
Key responsibilities:
- Underwrite new business and renewals within delegated authority
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients
- Manage a profitable portfolio in line with business plans and underwriting guidelines
- Contribute to portfolio management and business development
- Work closely with colleagues across underwriting, claims and actuarial teams
Experience required:
- Experience underwriting Casualty business
- Strong technical knowledge across areas such as Employers' Liability, Public Liability and/or Products Liability
- A proven track record of managing and developing broker relationships
- Strong commercial and analytical skills
- The ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced underwriting environment
