Assistant Company Secretary – Lloyd\’s (re)Insurer
Leading specialty (re)insurance firm operating in the Lloyd\’s Market are seeking an Assistant Company Secretary. Reporting to a newly appointed Company Secretary, this role will support the Governance team in providing high-level company secretarial support to the main business and Group entities, as well as driving regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain the annual Board and Committee calendar.
- Managing the Board Park production and distribution process to the main board and entities.
- Managing and supporting the Board-level Committees, including agenda setting, minute taking, statutory filings and follow-up actions.
- Review and amend governance frameworks in line with compliance to FCA, PRA and Lloyd\’s guidelines.
- Supporting on key ad-hoc group projects including corporate transactions, integrations and regulatory projects.
To be successful in this role, you must have a chartered qualification or working towards this. Strong knowledge of UK Company Law and Corporate Governance practices is essential. If you have worked in the Insurance space, in particular Lloyd\’s then this would be desirable also.
This is a great opportunity for either an experienced Assistant Company Secretary or Company Secretarial Assistant looking for a fantastic progression opportunity.
