Our shops play a vital role in raising the essential funds for our Charity. We are currently looking for Shop Managers (Roaming) who would be interested in ad-hoc shifts to join our bank services covering vacant shifts in our charity shops across Cambridgeshire. Each shop is its own little treasure trove and unique community hub, with our brilliant shop staff and volunteers keeping donations sorted, tidied and flying off the shelves.

Responsibilities

  • Run the shop to promote and enhance the image of the charity to all customers.
  • Manage the security of the shop premises and stock.
  • Make arrangements for opening and locking up at either end of the trading day.

Qualifications

  • Good general education with excellent verbal, numerical and written skills.
  • Previous experience of working in a similar retail environment with leadership/management experience.

Salary and Employment Terms

Please note that the salary quoted is based on full time hours and will be pro-rata’d for part-time posts. As a Charity with limited funds, it is usual practice for new starters to commence on the minimum of the salary band for the role. Exceptionally, and only for candidates demonstrating significant strengths relevant to the role, we may be able to negotiate on this.
