Corporate Partnerships Manager to lead and grow one of our most exciting fundraising income streams.

Corporate partnerships are a key priority for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, and we have ambitious plans to significantly grow income and awareness over the next three years.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Corporate Partnerships team, develop a long-term strategy, and build innovative partnerships that support outstanding hospice care across Cambridgeshire.

Working closely with the Head of Fundraising and the wider Income Generation and Communications team, you'll lead on developing new business opportunities, strengthening existing partnerships, and inspiring businesses of all sizes to support our work.

You'll also manage and develop a small team, ensuring we continue to provide an exceptional experience for our corporate supporters.

Key responsibilities of the role will include

  • Develop and deliver the charity's corporate partnerships strategy to drive sustainable income growth and increase awareness across Cambridgeshire.
  • Identify, secure and cultivate new corporate partnerships, creating innovative and tailored proposals that meet business objectives and corporate social responsibility goals.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the Corporate Partnerships team, providing coaching and support to maximise performance.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with existing corporate partners, ensuring outstanding stewardship and long‑term engagement.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of prospective supporters through networking, research and relationship building.
  • Monitor performance against income targets and KPIs, providing analysis, forecasts and reports to senior colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively across the organisation to create engaging fundraising opportunities, sponsorships, volunteering programmes and strategic partnerships.
  • Represent the charity at networking events, business meetings and presentations, acting as an ambassador for the Charity.

About You

  • Proven experience in corporate fundraising, business development, sales or partnership management, with a strong track record of securing and growing income.
  • Experience of developing and managing successful relationships with corporate partners or key accounts.
  • A strategic thinker with excellent commercial awareness and the ability to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Experience of leading, motivating and developing individuals or teams.
  • An outstanding communicator with excellent networking, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities while delivering against ambitious targets.
  • Hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.

This is a full‑time role, working 37.5 hours per week, based at our Hospice in Cambridge. We can offer hybrid working after the completion of a training and induction programme.

Due to the nature of this role there may be occasions where the postholder will be required to work outside of normal working hours to support events.

Any instances will be agreed in advance, and we have a TOIL system in place to manage any extra hours worked.

Starting salary of £ 39,959, with opportunities to progress to £48,117.

Interviews will be held on 9th and 10th September.

Please note that the salary quoted is based on full time hours and will be pro-rata’d for part time posts.

As a Charity with limited funds, it is usual practice for new starters to commence on the minimum of the salary band for the role.

Exceptionally, and only for candidates demonstrating significant strengths relevant to the role, we may be able to negotiate on this.
